St. Bonaventure senior Mario Arce (pictured) advanced to the round of 32 today at the ITA Regionals. Arce, seeded 6th in the event, downed Manhattan's Diego Alvarado 6-3, 7-6(6). Arce will now play Canada's David Webb, a 17-32 seed, from Dartmouth. Arce was pleased with his performance, "I played well and the second-set tiebreak was a good test. Webb is a good player who serves real big so my return game has to be sharp." said Arce.
