St. Bonaventure senior Mario Arce (pictured) advanced to the round of 32 today at the ITA Regionals.  Arce, seeded 6th in the event, downed Manhattan's Diego Alvarado 6-3, 7-6(6).  Arce will now play Canada's David Webb, a 17-32 seed, from Dartmouth.  Arce was pleased with his performance, "I played well and the second-set tiebreak was a good test. Webb is a good player who serves real big so my return game has to be sharp." said Arce.

Senior Nikhil Murali saw his three-match winning streak come to a close as he dropped 6-2, 6-3 decision to 5th seed Dan Hanegby of Binghamton.Senior Mario Arce Murali, who went through the qualifying rounds of the event, was disappointed with his loss, "He was not doing anything special, but I just lost my concentration too many times during the match," said Murali.
