Justin Brtko is back for his second season with the Bonnies.  In his first year as an assistant, he helped the Bonnies to an undefeated 7-0 record in Atlantic-10 play and the Atlantic-10 Championship.

Brtko graduated from the University at Buffalo with a degree in sociology in the spring of 2002.  Brtko was a four-year letterwinner for the Bulls and captained the squads in his junior and senior year.  He was a scholar-athlete award recipient and team MVP as a junior.  While at UB he handed current St. Bonaventure junior Nikhil Murali his first-ever collegiate loss en route to the 2001 SBU Fall Classic Title.

Brtko attended Williamsville East High School in Buffalo and was a state Quarterfinalst in his senior year.
